There is a minimum charge of £20 per job, which can include film and imposition and/or studio time.
Imposition takes place after the pages have been rasterized on a BrainNew Post-RIP Imposition Station.
We can impose pages of the same size even if they are from different programs, for example a four page A4 Price List could have the front cover in QuarkXPress and the other three pages in Microsoft Excel.
Our price for imposition is a flat rate of £7.50 per job.
We will be pleased to make amendments to any documents. Studio time is charged at £60 per hour with a minimum charge of £10.
Please note that you will be charged £10 for us to investigate a document if the job does not go ahead.
We offer various proofing options, the most accurate of which are our Highwater Digital Proofs.
If you would like a low resolution PDF proof emailed to you, this is available at no extra charge – providing the job goes ahead.
These are free of charge, unless the job does not proceed to a finished PDF or film, in which case they are charged at £1 each.
These are not colour-correct. There is a minimum charge of £10. The prices per page are:
On A4 paper (not big enough for an A4 image) £2

These are RIP’d on a Highwater Torrent RIP and printed onto Du Pont / Epson Commercial Proofing Paper. They give a very good approximation to the finished printed job. The prices are:

Our Heidelberg Herkules drum imagesetter has a maximum image area of 749mm x 557mm. It images hard-dot film positives or negatives at 1270dpi, 2540dpi or 3387dpi – at the highest resolution imagesetting a halftone screen ruling of 200 lines per inch.
Our Highwater Torrent RIP runs the latest Harlequin-based RIP software, enabling it to handle the most complex graphics files, containing intricate Illustrator CS transparency effects, quickly and accurately.
